I Want For My Math Exam - 1521 Words

It’s been 3 weeks since the school year started. I go to class as usual, I do homework as usual, I take tests as usual. Nothing seems out of the ordinary. Or rather, nothing would have seemed out of the ordinary. I find it hard to focus on my math exam with so many thoughts running through my head. I look up from my test and scan the room. Everyone seems equally as invested in the test in front of them. However, I see some people starting to lose focus as their eyes start to wander. Others, realizing how futile their efforts are, have already began pulling out their phones, hoping Google can help them figure out just what exactly a polynomial function is. I can’t help but wonder how I have not failed out of the class yet considering the fact that I don’t remember what a polynomial function is either. No one remembers what it is. I haven’t heard that word since junior year of high school. All these people sitting around me are just as lost as I am. Iâ€℠¢ve been in this math class for 3 weeks and passed every test and quiz but honestly, I feel like I’ve learned nothing. Learning nothing has become so routine that no one even comments on it anymore. Going with the flow is usually the easiest course. However, in my many years of schooling, I’ve only known one person who addressed the problem, Samuel A. Fink. Sam Fink was an interesting kid. He had the strongest sense of righteousness that the world had ever seen and was the type of person who was never afraid to speak their mindShow MoreRelatedMath : My Math Test731 Words   |  3 PagesMath has never been the easiest thing in the world for me. Service design methodologies are used to plan and organize people, infrastructure, communication and material components used in a service. Johnston, R. (2010, p. 113-134), good products and services design is important for both companies and its customers. It fulfils the customers’ wants from the product and service design and also generates the profit for the companies. The performance of the product and service design is measured by its quality, speed, dependability, flexibility and cost. The stages of product and service design include concept design, concept screening, preliminary design, evaluation improvement and prototype and final design. All of these stages finally run out a fully developed product. As a result, a concept, a package and a process is designed in the product and service design. â€Å"A concept is the understanding of the nature, use and value of the service or product; a package of ‘component’ products and services that provide those benefits defined in the concept; the process defines the way in which the component products and services will be created and delivered.† (Slack, N., Chambers, S. The following reflection report aims at providing a critical analysis of research process that deals with a detailed analysis of theimportance of employee management in an organization. The scope of this reflection report includes but not limited to the different activities of the associated with the research study. It gives an overview of the entire process and reflects the knowledge gained in performing each stage of the research study. Topic Selection One of the major requirements of a research study is selection of topic. The week one of the research study consisted of selection of an appropriate topic for carrying out the research. In this week, I have researched over a number of issues and topics to select an appropriate topic for my research. Finally, I decided to proceed with the topic employee employer relationship. Extraction of Papers After successful selection of the topic, the next major task of the research project was literature review. Literature review is an important part of a research study as it evaluates the findings from the previous research papers. In order to perform successful literature review, one of the major tasks is extraction of papers for carrying out with the process. This process took approximately 12 days. Extraction of the papers was a complex task as I had to properly identify the papers related to my research study. Literature review Analysis After successful extraction of the researches papers of last five years, I started on with the literature review part of the research study. It took me approximately 14 days to complete the analysis of the research papers. This phase of the research study considerably helped me in developing the base of the research and understanding the topic of the research more appropriately. Proper analysis of the findings of the previous research papers will help me in comparing the findings of the previous research papers with my own research study. Writing the literature Review After analysis of the findings of the previous research papers, it was important to pen it down to use it as a reference in the later stages of the research study. Writing the literature review helped me in gaining a considerable knowledge about the importance of maintaining a proper employee employer relationship. It took me approximately 1 week in writing the literature review based on the analysis done in the previous weeks. Proposing the research questions After successful completion of the literature review part, one of the major tasks is to propose the research questions. The research questions provide a direction to the research study. The research study aims at finding the answers of the research questions. It was a complex task to identify the appropriate research questions for the research study. Selection of appropriate methodology After identifying the research questions it is essential to select an appropriate methodology for conducting the research study. Primary and secondary research methodologies are chosen for the research. It will include collection of both primary and secondary data. It took me approximately 1 week in identifying and selecting and appropriate research methodology. I was patient and focused in selection of an appropriate methodology for the research as I know, it will be an integral part of the research study. Synthesis through research framework After successful selection of an appropriate research methodology, it is essential to structure a proper research framework. I have identified and planned the research framework in week 9 and week 10 that helped in forming the structure of the research study. Preparing the research proposal After all the major works being completed, it was necessary to write the research proposal in order to receive the feedback of the lecturer. The research proposal incorporates the necessary requirements and details of a research study. In order to successfully complete writing the research proposal, I at first listed down the major findings of the past 10 weeks. The wanted the research proposal to be informative and clear. I therefore ensured that the proposal includes all the necessary details that I needed to convey to my professor. I incorporated a part of my literature review in the proposal. This was important as literature review provides an up to date understanding of the subject and topic chosen for the literature review. The proposal consisted of the objectives of carrying out the research and the research questions identified for the project. It further gave an overview of the data collection methods that will be used in the research study. Submission of the Research Proposal After successful completion of the research proposal, it was time to submit the proposal in order to receive the lecturers feedback. Before submitting, it crosschecked the proposal written in order to be sure that I have included all the requirement elements in the research proposal. The submission of the research proposal was carried on week 12, just after the completion of writing the research proposal. Conclusion The reflection report gave an overview of the tasks and activities that are performed in 12 weeks. These activities are associated with writing the research proposal, of the research study. After successful approval of the research proposal, the data collection for the research will start after the 12th week. Both primary and secondary data are needed to be collected for carrying on with the research study. The primary data collection includes information collection from surveys and questionnaires, while the secondary data collection includes use of the journals, annual reports of the companies and so on. After successful collection of the data, the data analysis will be done. Proper analysis of the collected data is essential in order to understand the amount of problem solved by employing employeerelationship management standard and its link to the employee behavior.
